MARGARET HORWATT Executive Director

The Rama Tree, Hawai‘I

Margaret is working to coordinate the budget and various aspects of preparing the Rama Exhibition, and is the Executive Director of our non-profit educational organization, The Rama Tree. 

After graduation from the AmarAsian Institute of Chinese Medicine in 1984 with a license in acupuncture, Margaret expanded her clinic to include acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, and massage therapy, which she practiced for 30 years. 

Margaret founded and directs Youth Horizons Hawai‘i, a non-profit organization that fosters character building for youth.  Active in the Hawai‘i Leadership Council, she is working to cultivate community leadership and local sustainability.
